Study Group Information

Cabbages and Kings

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm (includes a tea break) at a member’s home on the North Shore.

In the group we talk about many things. Talks are for 10-20 minutes about any topic of our choice. A friendly discussion ensues as we contribute from our own knowledge and experience.

Recently we heard about opals, amber and why trees exude resin. We have also learnt about rare earth, Freda Stark, the history of tea, the widow’s penny and the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines MH370.

Come and find out about a variety of interesting topics.
