Study Group Information

Classic Movies

We meet on the 3rd Monday each month from 1pm to 3.30pm at a home on the North Shore.

We screen a movie from the Golden Age (1935 - 1965). Members often fondly recall watching a movie that they originally viewed during their much younger years at their local movie theatre. They also enjoy watching their once favourite star of yesteryear or trying to put a name to some of the supporting cast.

At the end of the movie we have a chocolate fish quiz about all aspects of the movie with those getting the right answers being rewarded for their efforts. A bit of fun that all can enjoy.
