Famous and Infamous

We meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from 9.45am to 12 noon (getting under way at 10am) at a member’s home on the North Shore.

We have two presenters from the group who each investigates and researches a personality of his or her choice. They could be famous, infamous, or even a mix of the two, living, dead or even fictional. It’s always interesting to hear what drew the presenter to their chosen figure. It is not difficult to find someone to talk about and every presentation is different. Our discussion often includes the social background, the history and how the topic relates to today.

We learn, share our knowledge, expand our interests and develop good friendships along the way.
