Study Group Information

Geology

We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9.45am to 12 noon at a home in Milford.

We take an interest in geologists and their discoveries, in the branches of geology, and in the physical features of NZ and other countries. Learn how continents have moved, how rocks are formed and why we have volcanoes and earthquakes. We invite outside speakers as the opportunity arises, and we have occasional field trips.

Ask questions and enjoy discussion in the company of others with enquiring minds.
