Writing our Stories

We meet in Takapuna on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1.30 to 3.30pm

In this small and supportive group, each member will undertake to draft a succession of stories from their own or their family’s lives, and to read their drafts to the group. We will be seeking constructive feedback from fellow members about how to make our stories engaging, clear and readable.

Our goal is for each member to draft, revise and record in writing a few well-told stories, over the course of a year.

Members may later decide to self-publish a collection of their own or their family’s stories. Or they may want to write a short personal or family history, or develop a biography or autobiography… who knows?
